Free COVID-19 Testing at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona

With the increasing number of people getting infected with coronavirus, the Pima County Health Department along with Paradigm Laboratories has opened the county’s first free community-testing site on July 13 at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson (2805 E. Ajo Way). The testing center will be open from Monday through Saturday, 11 AM to 7 PM, and screening is by appointment only. The goal of the program is to test around 1,000 people a day.

The county officials hope that through this coronavirus lab test (Link “coronavirus lab test” to, they can easily identify and notify those who have positive cases and conduct an expanded contact tracing in just a span of 24 to 48 hours. County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry said in an interview, “The more timely we are, the better it improves the chances of isolating the infected person and reducing the number of infected people.”
