Surreal fine artist, Jim Warren, has launched a new website. Jim Warren has been an artist for 50 years and is known for his unique style of fine art paintings.

Jim Warren started to draw at the age of two and has been creating art ever since. In 1967 he decided to turn his passion into his vocation and started to paint using oil on canvas. He started out as a fine artist and was inspired by prominent artists such as Dali and Rembrandt and is mostly self taught.

Jim has pursued his dream and has created album cover art and has painted hundreds of magazine illustrations, movie posters and book covers. He is noted especially for creating album covers for prominent musicians including Alice Cooper, Prince and Bob Seger. The cover work for Bob Seger’s album “Against the Wind” won a Grammy Award and the album itself reached number one in the Billboard 200.

In 2004 Jim started a collaboration with Disney and the results of this partnership have been released as fine art prints. Jim continues to paint Disney characters and uses his own unique interpretations.

The website explains that Jim Warren has also painted famous actors and incorporates friends and celebrities into his work. He has painted Juliette Lewis, Wyland and the CEO of Oakley Sunglasses, Michael Parnell. His work has been praised by high profile personalities such as Nancy Cartwright and Mike Love.

Jim began painting celebrities for the Fame-Wall Project in Hollywood and New York. This project involves painting celebrities such as The Beach Boys, John Stamos, Kelsey Grammar and Brooke Shields, and then revealing them.
